Free PDF to Word converter that keeps your layout

A PDF is great for sharing but hard to change. When you need to fix a typo, update a CV or reuse a section of a report, you need the document back in Word. This converter rebuilds every page in a .docx file you can open in Microsoft Word, LibreOffice or Google Docs.

Each page keeps its images, graphics and colors exactly as they are. The text is placed in the same position as in the PDF, using the same font names, sizes and colors, and stays fully editable. Wide gaps and columns are kept in place, so brochures, price lists and forms look right.

Privacy matters with contracts, letters and certificates. The conversion runs inside your own browser. The file is never sent to a server, and there is no account, no watermark and no page limit.

  • Pictures are placed as separate images you can move, resize or replace in Word
  • Editable text with the original font names, sizes, bold, italic and colors
  • Pages and columns stay in the same position
  • Convert all pages or a range such as 1-3,5
  • Works on phone, tablet and desktop, with dark mode

Getting the exact look

Word can only display fonts that are installed on your computer. After conversion, the tool lists the fonts it found, so you can install any that are missing. Without them Word substitutes a similar font, and spacing may shift slightly. Very complex files, such as pages with rotated text or heavy effects, may need a few small fixes. Scanned PDFs contain no real text, so those pages stay as images. If you need the fonts to match 100%, choose the Exact look option: the page keeps its original text as part of the image, so every font is identical, but the text can't be edited.

Frequently asked questions

Is this PDF to Word converter free?

Yes. No sign up, no watermark and no limit on conversions.

Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?

No. Everything is processed in your browser and the file stays on your device.

Will the Word file look like my PDF?

In most cases yes. Images, graphics and colors are kept, and text sits in the same position with the same font names and sizes.

Why do some fonts look different in Word?

Word only shows installed fonts. If one is missing, Word swaps in a similar one. Install the font for the exact look.

Can it convert a scanned PDF?

Yes, but scanned pages stay as images because they contain no real text.

Can I convert only some pages?

Yes. Type a range like 1-3,5 or leave it empty for all pages.
